The Bungalow has another fantastic weekend of live music lined up for you. Tonight it looks like another sell out show by the fantastic Definitely Oasis. The Oasis tribute band areregarded by many Oasis fans and promoters alike as the best Oasis tribute band there is.
With the real Oasis on an extended break at the moment, this is definitely the next best thing. If you have your ticket for tonight you’re in for an amazing show. They are one of the hottest acts to ever play The BungalowThe Bungalow. Doors at 7pm.
On Saturday afternoon the wonderful Leana Zaccarini and the Moonlighters are returning to the stage. This fantastic group of musicians will be playing popular jazz and swing classics that will have you bopping along all afternoon. The band starts at 3pm so come down before they start to get a table and settle in for music, song and love.
The last time the band played there one fan said this about them “Just saw this amazing band at The Bungalow. They are wonderful musicians and Leana is the full package of beautiful voice with a charisma to match” Free entry.
Tomorrow night it’s a double bill of pure power and is shaping up like a battle of who can belt it out the most. On the bill is Status Quo tribute band Heavy Traffic. This is a frantic 4 band that belt out Quo tunes from their classic albums and play a mix of chart hits.
They’re being supported by the very popular covers trio outfit Proposal who have been packing them in since live music started after lockdown. Proposal knows how to get you up dancing. I’ve seen both bands and I think it is a close call who is the most in your face band but whoever comes out on top Jay Fitzpatrick will be in the winning team.
That’s because he is playing guitar for Proposal and drums for Heavy Traffic. Check him out and see how versatile he is. Tickets are still available on Eventbrite so get them while you can or it is £6 on entry. Doors are at 7pm and first band is on at 8pm.
On Thursday The Bungalow Introducing Nights are back. These nights are for emerging talent to showcase their latest material. The line up includes Singer/Songwriters Fallen Arches, Sadie Marie and Leaving Bordeaux. The band have a riff-heavy, postpunk- ish thrash kind of sound complete with hooky choruses. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are £5.
Another sold out gig, this time it is widely acclaimed Gary Barlow tribute act Tony Kay at The Cave. (Seems to be a thing) ‘If you’re no fast yer last’ Tomorrow night from 6pm it is Splendid Suns followed by Sad Ida at 9pm. On Sunday it is a double bill with Blue Horizon from 6pm then Grants AfterParty at 9pm.
Stephen Henry is playing at The Old Swan from 5pm tonight. Tomorrow The Head Hunters are in the ‘Shopping Slot’ at 4pm. The Casual Swans will be on stage and up to some no good from 4pm on Monday.
A celebration of the life of Cat Jones is to take place at Rocknrollas.To honour her memory The M65’s and All or Nothing DJ’s are playing a charity gig at the Paisley venue and all proceeds from ticket sales and raffle tickets will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. Doors are at 7:30pm and you can buy tickets on the door for £10.
The energetic and amazing young band Best Bad Influence will be playing at The Anchor tomorrow from 4.30pm then on Sunday Moonshine Mojo will be kicking off at 4.30pm
Open Mic nights next week are The Keg with Johnny Barr at 8.30pm and The Abbey with Dunky Hunter at 9pm. The Anchor Bar started their open mic session recently and will be on the last Tuesday of the month from now on.
