SCOTLAND’S most popular retail and leisure destination, intu Braehead has teamed up with the Glasgow Warriors rugby team.

The new partnership means that sports fans and regular visitors to intu Braehead can take advantage of Glasgow-Warriors-related augmented reality experiences, promotions and special offers along with and the opportunity to meet the stars of the Warriors team.

Warriors will get access to the 17 million visitors that come to intu Braehead every year to promote the club and the sport of rugby. And intu Braehead will be able to reach out to the ever-increasing audience of rugby and sports fans. The partnership will run until the end of the 2021 season.

Warriors’ star Nick Grigg visited Soar at intu Braehead to see for himself the various leisure attractions there and even had a go on the modern-day version of the helter skelter  – the UK’s tallest indoor slide.

David added: “People can unwind and relax, or get active as we have a host of leisure opportunities at Soar from a multiplex cinema, indoor ski slope, ten-pin bowling, trampoline, the UK’s tallest helter-skelter, to a climbing wall and aerial assault course. Plus of course, all our cafes, restaurants and bars.

“As well as watching the Glasgow Clan professional ice hockey team at the intu Braehead Arena, we’ve also got some amazing events coming to the venue like Cirque Du Soleil and the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters.
