Paisley Pirates have a busy weekend coming up,  with two matches over the weekend which sees their league campaign reach it’s final stages. On Saturday, they’re on the road to Auchenharvie Leisure Centre in Ardrossan to take on North Ayrshire Wild, while on Sunday night they have their final home game of the regular season as they go up against Kirkcaldy Kestrels (face off 4.30pm) at Braehead Arena.

Pirates beat Wild 5-2 in a closely fought fixture at home less than two weeks ago and only won the match in the final ten minutes, while they knocked Kestrels out of the Scottish Cup on a 12-4 aggregate win and recorded a 6-3 away win in the league earlier in the season,

The Renfrewshire outfit will be looking to continue their excellent form of last Sunday when they beat a strong looking Dundee Comets side 7-2 in their Scottish Cup semi final first leg, and hope continued good performances will see them rack up another four league points and will keep their momentum going in advance of March, when playoff hockey and, hopefully, a Scottish Cup final appearance will be on their schedule.
