Young people looking for something to do during the spring break holidays can sign up for fun activities across Renfrewshire.

The Council’s youth services team are offering free laser tag sessions at four venues – Glenburn Go Zone, Nepalese Hall in Gallowhill, Tannahill Centre in Ferguslie and West Johnstone campus – for the first time as part of their spring break programme.

Spaces per session are limited to 30 places and young people in primary 6 and above are encouraged to sign up ahead of time to ensure they can take part.

Free Easter-themed games and challenges will also take place in all four venues as well as Bargarran Community Centre in Erskine and Foxbar Youth Drop In.

Young people will also hear about what’s happening in Renfrewshire for the Year of Young People and find out how they can get involved.

Education and Children’s Services Convener for Renfrewshire Council, Councillor Jim Paterson, said: “Youth clubs offer loads of great free activities for young people to get involved in during the school holidays. They are also a great opportunity for young people to find out more about Year of Young People events in Renfrewshire.

“The laser tag sessions are bound to be popular and I would urge anyone who wants to take part to sign up now.”
