Paisley.org.uk’s very own Brian McGuire and Danielle Caira are to get on their bikes by taking part in the 2016 Arran Bike & Hike challenge to help raise funds for Paisley charity RAMH (Recovery Across Mental Health).

They will be attempting  a 42-mile cycle from Brodick to Lochranza on Saturday 3rd September followed by a further 13-mile cycle on Sunday 4th September  plus Goatfell hike at 874m.

There are 3 challenge options available.  

Weekend Bike & Hike: Saturday – 42 mile clockwise island cycle from Brodick to Lochranza, with overnight stay. Sunday – 13 mile cycle plus Goatfell hike at 874m. £50 registration fee plus £300 minimum sponsorship.

Saturday Full Loop Bike: circumnavigate the beautiful isle of Arran – the full 52 miles in one day on a fully supported cycle including support vehicle. £30 (or £15 early bird) registration fee plus £120 minimum sponsorship.

Sunday Goatfell Hike: Conquer Goatfell at 874m, includes mountain guide, first aiders and front and rear walkers. £30 (or £15 early bird) registration fee plus £120 minimum sponsorship.

Every person registering for the RAMH Arran Bike and Hike will be given a free month’s membership and entered into a prize draw for 6 month’s free membership at Pro Life Fitness Centre. They also receive a free RAMH t-shirt.
