Local mental health charity RAMH are encouraging everyone to fill the last remaining places on their 2016 Arran Bike & Hike.

The event takes place on Saturday 3rd and/or Sunday 4th September.

RAMH’s own Chief Executive Stephen McLellan is getting on his bike for the challenge and said “the Arran Bike & Hike is a perfect way to support local mental health services whilst completing a demanding physical challenge.” 

 

Provost Hall & Smoothie BikeThere are 3 challenge options available.  

Weekend Bike & Hike: Saturday – 42 mile clockwise island cycle from Brodick to Lochranza, with overnight stay. Sunday – 13 mile cycle plus Goatfell hike at 874m. £50 registration fee plus £300 minimum sponsorship.

Saturday Full Loop Bike: circumnavigate the beautiful isle of Arran – the full 52 miles in one day on a fully supported cycle including support vehicle. £30 (or £15 early bird) registration fee plus £120 minimum sponsorship.

Sunday Goatfell Hike: Conquer Goatfell at 874m, includes mountain guide, first aiders and front and rear walkers. £30 (or £15 early bird) registration fee plus £120 minimum sponsorship.

Every person registering for the RAMH Arran Bike and Hike will be given a free month’s membership and entered into a prize draw for 6 month’s free membership at  Pro Life Fitness Centre. They also receive a free RAMH t-shirt.
