First 757 With New Livery

The flight, now in its 12th year of service, is operated using Boeing 757-200 aircraft in a two class configuration, offering customers the choice of 12 seats in Business Class and 158 Main Cabin seats.

In addition to Philadelphia, American provides Scottish customers with direct services from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to New York John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). This flight is also operated by Boeing 757 aircraft, offering customers a choice of 14 seats in Business Class and 157 seats in the Main Cabin.

“Between Philadelphia and New York, Scottish customers have direct access to two major American Airlines hubs, and the wealth of onward connections available from both,” said David Thomas, Director, UK & Ireland Sales. “Both cities are popular destinations amongst Scottish Business and Leisure travellers, and our services eliminate the necessity for them to connect through another gateway.”

From Philadelphia, American’s largest hub in the Northeast USA, Scottish customers can connect on to nearly 160 destinations across the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. American Airlines has four Admirals Club lounges located at Philadelphia International Airport.

From JFK, customers can connect on to American’s network of more than 40 destinations across the U.S., Canada, Caribbean and Latin America, including near-hourly transcontinental services to Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). Transcontinental flights are operated with industry-leading Airbus A321T aircraft, offering fully lie-flat seating in First and Business Class. American has two dedicated Admirals Club lounges in JFK for Business Class customers and a Flagship Lounge for First Class Customers.
