After a highly successful inaugural event in July, Fèis Phàislig returns in 2016 for children aged 8-18 across Renfrewshire. Gaelic for Paisley Festival, Fèis Phàislig is an opportunity for individuals to come together and develop skills in the Gaelic arts – song, dance, drama, and traditional music on a wide range of instruments. Our aim is to inspire the next generation of children to play traditional music with some of Scotland’s leading musicians and tutors.

Our 2016 Fèis week takes place from July 19-22 in Paisley and welcomes all children aged 8-18, regardless of their ability. No previous experience of music is required, just an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take part. From complete beginners to more advanced players, we aim to give all participants something that suits their ability and the opportunity to perform as part of a larger group.

Earlybird registration is now open for 2016 and can be done through the Fèis Phàislig website. Sign up now for first pick of our different subject choices and pay no more than our 2015 event. Earlybird registration will close on Oct 31st with our main registration open in early 2016.
