Doors Open Days 2014 campaign ‘Scotland through the Keyhole’ is delighted to announce it is a part of Homecoming Scotland 2014’s cultural programme.
This year’s festival sees Doors Open Days partnering with Homecoming Scotland to provide an extra special series of events in celebration of the Year of Homecoming 2014. Doors Open Days will welcome in the world and encourage everyone, from both home and abroad, to join in the festivities and discover Scotland through the Keyhole.
In 2014 Scotland’s annual festival of architectural will explore the countries contemporary and historic built environments, from the Highlands to the Borders, with a focus upon our great nation’s heritage, people and identity.
Scotland through the Keyhole will focus on four broad areas that showcase the very best of our country’s past, present and future. These areas are:
Food and Drink
Natural, Active and Industrial Resources
Creativity and Culture
and Ancestry
An exciting year of exploring Scotland’s produce, people and places through the keyhole of Scottish doors awaits. We can’t wait to welcome you in.
