Mosswood Open Weekend a Success.
Staff and residents of newly built Mosswood Care Home, Linwood, were thrilled at the turnout they received at their recent Open Weekends. With almost 200 people from the local Paisley community attending – including health professionals as well as friends and families of those interested in becoming a resident of the state-of-the-art care facility – the weekend was a great success.
Owned and operated by family-run Pacific Care Ltd, Mosswood Care Home offers the highest standards of care including general and specialised nursing with a dementia focus. With 71 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms over one level, most with their own private outdoor space, Mosswood has been designed to be a true home-from-home for all residents.

Liz Donaghy, Care Home Manager for Mosswood, worked as manager of Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley for 9 years and has over 20 years’ experience working in Care.
Liz explained:
“After only opening in February of this year, we’re delighted with the level of enquiries for care – and they keep on coming! The Open Weekend was a great success, we really got to know the community and the staff and I have been made to feel very welcome to the area.
