Facebay Fundraising

Facebay Fundraising has raised £290 for the RAH Children’s Ward from their Facebook page.

People donated their unwanted items to the site and the money raised was spent on presents for the sick children in the Paisley R.A.H Children’s Ward, the staff on the ward were delighted with the presents. This is all thanks to their supporters who donate unwanted items to the Facebay Fundraising website.

There are five charities in the group which are Macmillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer Scotland, R.A.H Children’s Ward, PDSA and MND (Motor Neurone Disease). People donate their unwanted items to the site and choose which charity they want the money to go to. They are then given links on the site to pay into.

So far we have raised over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, please feel free to have a look at the items on the site. Everyone is welcome to join the site, all donations welcome. We are also selling raffle tickets for a hamper at £1 a strip which can be purchase from Irene McDonald from Facebay Fundraising, proceeds raised from the raffle will be donated to the PSDA Glasgow. If anyone would like to donate an item for the hamper, it would very much be appreciated. Irene can be contacted on https://www.facebook.com/groups/FacebayFundraising/ or irenemcdonald@live.co.uk
