This class is intended to be a health orientated classes for all ages and abilities but if anyone wishes they will be able to learn the full practical Tai Chi Syllabus as their skill level increases.

Billy, the tutor for this class, teaches different sets of “Chi Gung” exercises that aim to strengthen the body, help correct posture and to promote better balance and co-ordination.

He will also be teaching a “Tai Chi short hand form” which is a series of movements that are the martial content of Tai Chi, as the hand form is practiced in a slow relaxed manner it also strengthens body and as it is a continuous movement it further helps promote balanced co-ordinated movement. This is the more commonly known part of Tai Chi, it is sometimes referred to as a moving meditation.
