Singing sensation Jade Richards may not have made it through to the live shows of the X Factor, but the 21-year-old is set to make a difference for one East Kilbride charity.

Fresh from singing in front of her mentor Kelly Rowland at the judge’s house, Jade will now bring her vocal talents to SAVIfest on Friday, October 21.

The 21-year-old from Fife wowed the nation with her powerful voice and audiences were shocked when she failed to make it through to the live shows.

But East Kilbride-based charity SAVI is set to benefit as Jade is now available to play their one day festival, SAVIfest, at the Barrowlands in Glasgow and the charity is delighted to have Jade on board.

Annmarie Campbell, who founded SAVIfest with her husband Douglas, said: “X Factor lost it’s X Factor when they let Jade go, but we’re certainly not complaining as their loss is our gain”

“She is yet another fantastic Scottish artist to join our clan at SAVIfest. It is going to be an absolutely amazing night.”

With a heady blend of rock, acoustic, soul and pop on offer from 18 bands and acts, SAVIfest will see a selection of the best from the Scottish music scene.

Artists performing on the night include Emmas Imagination, Aaron Wrightand Little Eye along with many more.

Tickets are now available from Ticket Scotland or Contact SAVI for tickets 0800- 622- 6986
