A Glasgow charity which engages with young people through basketball is working to extend its outreach with the launch of a brand new website – www.scottishsportsfutures.org.uk – produced by award winning ecommerce company NSDesign.
Scottish Sports Futures (SSF) is a not-for-profit organisation working with 10-21 year olds throughout Scotland. It offers advice to adolescents to help them make positive lifestyle decisions. The Paisley charity selected Hillington-based web design company, NSDesign, to create it’s new site, which was launched this month.
Michelle Ferguson, Sponsorship Director of the Scottish Sports Futures said:
“As a charity, we look to engage with a variety of different audiences – from young people to community organisations to volunteers. From the outset, the team at NSDesign understood these complex needs, and worked with us to develop and put into practice the ideas we had for the site.
“NSDesign has produced a website tailored to all of our needs – we are absolutely delighted with the end product.”
The e-commerce company was awarded ‘Best Value for Money’ title at the 2010 Recommended Agency Register Awards. Gary Ennis, Managing Director said:
“Having designed many websites with small budgets in the past, it was no problem for us when SSF specified this in their initial brief. We have created a site for the charity that is user friendly and simple to manage and maintain.
“By including interactive elements such as social media channels and competition invites, the new website should help SSF communicate the excellent work that it does with young people throughout Scotland.”
