May 20, 2009Residents and businesses in the West End of Paisley are being asked for their views on how to breathe long overdue life back into the area – article appears in Paisley Daily Express today 13 May 2009.
Residents are invited to have their say on proposals at a special event in Well Street Community Centre between 3:00 pm & 7:00pm on 13 May 2009 !!!!.
This does not give anyone sufficient notice!! People out at work from early in the morning who pick up the PDE on their way home wont see the article until its too late.
Lets hope its not too late for the West End , a part of Paisley that has been forgotten and allowed to deteriorate into almost slum conditions and it is long overdue regeneration.
Businesses need to be encouraged back and its imperative that cctv is installed and any existing ones are maintained to keep the crime at a minimum.
