Bowel Cancer UK is holding an Information Day on Tuesday 28th April from 10am – 9pm at Braehead Shopping Centre, Renfrewshire to raise public awareness of a disease which affects over 3,000 people every year in Scotland.     This event coincides with April’s Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and the launch of the NHS Scottish Bowel Screening Programme, which is currently rolling out in Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Eventually everyone aged 50 -74 will be invited to take part in bowel screening every two years.    The Information Day stand will be located on the upper central atrium between Thorntons and Optical Express.
