Time for a ‘summer’ edition of the Hamishes’ Hoose Herald with lots of news about what is happening in the World of Hamishes’.

Menu
First off, our new menu is being launched this weekend and as well as the favourites from the last menu we have some new and exciting dishes for you to try and enjoy. A fuller Vegetarian section now contains Mushroom Stroganoff, Mixed Vegetable Kebabs and Broccoli and Cauliflower bake along with Macaroni Cheese and Vegetarian Salad Platter. The mains section has the addition of Fillet of Trout, Chicken and Mixed Pepper skewers, Stir Fried Tiger Prawns, Creamy Haddock Mornay and Mild Chicken Curry. Sweets have grown also with the addition of Sticky Toffee Pudding and profiteroles. Children are also catered for as we now do Real Battered Breast of Chicken strips. There is also a comprehensive Healthier Option Salad Platter section with some new and interesting combinations.

Entertainment
A new summer season opens with a long awaited return visit of Waterloo Sunset this Saturday the 10th May, a well known and appreciated covers band they are always made welcome by the Hamishes’ Hoose Musos’.

Elvis and Neil Diamond are the subjects for this months tribute on Saturday the 31st. A well known tribute act, he is well liked among the Glasgow crowd and takes his highly acclaimed show to all parts of Scotland. We have managed to outbid some prestigious venues in order to attract this fantastic show to Paisley. Tickets for this event are only £5 and are on sale now in Hamishes’ Hoose. The last show we hosted was an immediate sell out, so get in there quick.

Upcoming Gigs include Hidden Agenda 7th June, (a great Northern Soul/Mod Band) Brass Impact, 19th July, (Paisley’s own big band covering all from the ‘Rat Pack’ to the ‘Beatles’) Jamiroquai 26th July (a brilliant Jamiroquai tribute band that will FUNK YER SOCKS OFF) 21 RED and Tigers on Vaseline (dates for which have still to be announced). There has been talk of initiating an OPEN MIC NITE for all you Buddie Talented folk out there, Check the website for details of this.

All our hugely successful current entertainment programme continues with Paisley’s longest running Pub Quiz night each Monday at which there is a considerable prize fund at stake, all you have to do is answer more incredibly hard questions, correctly than your neighbour and you walk with it. Every Thursday we have our ‘Traditional’ Karaoke Night and on Friday we have or BIG MAD KARAOKE DISCO PARTY during which anything goes, Singing, Dancing, having a nibble at the buffet (if there is any left) and enjoying some of our special offer deals. The OLD SKOOL NIGHTS we are famous for continue with our DJ Chris coming up with some new and exciting additions to the evenings RETRO enjoyment, this will be in the shape of VIDEOS and IMAGES that will have you amazed at what we looked like and did ?? back then.
