Paisley Food Bank
Trussell Trust Foodbanks work in partnership with other agencies to help people in times of crisis. These agencies (listed below) issue the vouchers to those they deem to be in greatest need. This way the Trussell Trust can manage their supplies and ensure that those in genuine need are reached.
Trussell Trust Foodbanks are about dealing with the root cause of food crisis. Along with the professional agencies, they need to be sure that the client is engaging with all services which can tackle the individual root cause, whether it is benefit delay, debt, budget issues, homelessness etc.
External agencies holding vouchers include
Social Work Dept
All housing and homeless services (council)
Job Centre Plus
If you are in food crisis you should speak to any one of these agencies who works with you. If you do not have access to such agencies and need food, you can contact Roslyn McVeigh (foodbank manager) directly on 0141 889 7999 and she can direct you to a suitable agency to obtain the voucher.
