Paisley Christmas Lights switch on 2009
Ruth Lorenzo and Lemar were special guests today at the annual Christmas Lights switch on, Clyde 1 kept us entertained also with the big finale of Fireworks and the Christmas lights being switched on it was watched by what I would estimate to be around 20,000 to 30,000 people and even the weather “cold though” was very kind to us.
The event was very well organised and extra barriers and the placement of the stage made for easier movement within the crowd… So why not get down and see all the lights in action, they get better each year..
From everyone here at Paisley.org.uk well done to the organisers once again.. Job done..
Look in the gallery and the paisley.org.uk flickr group for pictures of the event itself..
Also HistoricalPaisley has a great set of pictures online too.
