I do not live in Paisley, I was not born in Paisley but I was there in November 2009, I'm French and I live on the island of Ré, off La Rochelle (between Nantes and Bordeaux). Two months ago we had a huge storm (Xinthia) has been significant damage (part of the island has been submerged and many houses flooded)
