The Tannahill Centre is a community-run hub in the centre of Ferguslie Park.  Accessible to the whole community it has a Doctors Surgery, NHS Clinic, Pharmacy, Library, Nursery and Post Office.  The Centre also directly manages a number of community spaces and a community café.  

 

Over the past year the centre has reviewed its business plan and is now well into a process of renewal that will better enable it to support Ferguslie Park reach its full potential.  

 

Following successful grants from the RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund and the Scottish Government and Development Trust Association’s Pockets and Prospects fund we are looking to recruit a new member of staff.

 

SRG DEVELOPMENT WORKER

£26,820 – £27,015 pro-rata (pay review pending)

 

We are looking to recruit an imaginative and people-focused individual to develop and deliver our approach to community development via the SRG model.  The successful candidate will have substantial experience in community development, group dynamics and facilitation skills.

 

This role will suit a self-starter who has substantial experience in community development, group dynamics and facilitation skills.  The successful candidate will be comfortable developing, delivering and sourcing training and capable of providing support to groups in developing income generation ideas.
