From 1.00-4.00pm on Saturday 06 February, Erskine Community Sports Hall will host a public exhibition of ideas put forward by local residents.

The suggestions were made during the Erskine Design Charrette – an intensive community-based consultation which has combined workshops, online comments, and visits to schools, businesses and community organisations.

The closing exhibition features ideas on themes such as places to live and work, civic spaces, and making more of the riverside.

Councillor Terry Kelly, Convener of Renfrewshire Council’s Planning and Property Policy Board, said: “There has been a positive spirit of engagement and involvement from people and organisations in Erskine throughout this process.

“I would like to thanks everyone involved and hope as many people as possible can come along and see the final exhibition.”

“The ideas proposed will be considered as part of the development of the town centre strategy for Erskine.”

Renfrewshire Council has organised the Erskine Design Charrette, with support funding from the Scottish Government.

The workshops and consultation were led by Renfrewshire-based planning consultant Nick Wright.
