Local business, Code Red Fire, has achieved a further level of approval on the various training courses and service it offers, adding to the other high profile memberships it recently gained.

Having recently gained membership The Institute of Fire Safety Managers and the Institution of Fire Engineers, Code Red Fire has now announced that a number of the training courses it offers have now been approved by none other than Qualsafe, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual.

In short, this means that the company is now able to offer Ofqual regulated qualifications to new and existing customers across Renfrewshire, Glasgow and surrounding areas.

“It’s another huge step forward in the restructuring and refocusing of the company, to ensure we’re offering the best possible training and qualifications to other local businesses.” commented  James McMahon, founder of Code Red Fire.

“Training of any sort is important, but when its purpose is to serve you in times of emergency such as fire or injury, then it’s crucial that the training is up to a high standard, so that you can cope with the situation at hand, if you find yourself in such a situation.”

James continued “Gaining the approval of Qualsafe and, in turn, now being able to offer Ofqual regulated qualifications, not only ensures we are offering the best training we can, but offers the customer significantly more assurance that they are choosing a quality training provider for their business.”

While Code Red offers a number of training courses across the local Renfrewshire and Glasgow region, some of the most popular courses which now fall under the Qualsafe approved banner are its Fire Safety Awareness Training Course, its Emergency First Aid at Work course, its Health and Safety training  and its AED Defib training.

Operating across Renfrewshire and Glasgow, Code Red Fire provides training and consultancy including Fire Extinguisher Training, Fire Risk Assessments, general fire safety training, to all size of business and organisation. Current clients include pubs and nightclubs, high street shops, sports facilities, nursing homes, historic buildings and engineering firms, to name but a few.
