James McMahon, founder of local company Code Red Fire Safety, has been awarded membership of two of the most recognised institutes of Fire Safety in the UK – The Institute of Fire Safety Managers and the Institution of Fire Engineers.

Having founded Code Red Fire in 2009, James has worked hard to ensure the company is continually up-to-date with the advice and guidance it provides via its training, assessment and consultancy of Fire Safety, and gaining membership of the IFE and IFSM has significantly added to the trust that local companies can have in the service Code Red can provide.

“I’m personally delighted, but it’s also a great achievement for the company.” Said James, when asked about the benefits of the awards. “It allows us to demonstrate our competency and expertise. Not just our word for it, or the word of our clients, but through acceptance by two of the best known institutions in the UK for our industry.”

“Aside from the additional letters I can now add at the end of my name to prove our membership, we can now also access even more information, faster, to ensure the service and advice we provide clients is absolutely up-to-date.”

Operating across Renfrewshire and Glasgow, Code Red Fire provides training and consultancy including Fire Extinguisher Training, Fire Risk Assessments, general fire safety training, to all size of business and organisation. Current clients include pubs and nightclubs, high street shops, sports facilities, nursing homes, historic buildings and engineering firms, to name but a few.
