Angus Weaver of Grass
An inspiring story portrayed through drama, film and literature about Angus MacPhee who was raised in the crofting community of South Uist. Traumatised by his experience of WWII, he barely spoke again. This is a tale of lost traditions, mental illness and magical hats of grass. An award-winning creative documentary film followed by an exquisite, moving performance incorporating drama, masks and puppetry with Gaelic narrative and song. Poignant and inspiring… Having toured Scotland in 2012 to sell-out audiences and rave reviews, this is a performance not to be missed.
