Johnstone Scout Group Need Your Help

As most of you will now have heard, Johnstone Scout Group came under violent attack in the early hours of Saturday 22nd June while the Scouts were having a sleepover to celebrate their last night before breaking for the summer holidays. Thankfully, although badly shaken, everyone including the Scouts and Leaders are ok, and continued the sleepover.

The Scout Group would now like to install a CCTV system and beef up security at the Scout hall, however we have very little in available funds. A local company today did a site survey for us and the quotation to install the system we require is going to cost in the region of £1,000.

Johnstone Scout Group

One local Record Label (MTG PRODUCTIONS) has offered to contribute £250 towards the costs, but we urgently need to raise more.

We are appealing to EVERYONE and ALL BUSINESSES in the area to consider donating to us to help pay for these much needed security improvements..

At present the only way to donate is either in physical cash payments to the group or the Group Scout Leader, or alternatively to pay by cheque, made payable to Johnstone Scout Group.
The Group is trying to set up a Just Giving or Paypal account and will provide details of these once they have been set up.

In the meantime, PLEASE HELP, even a small amount donated to us will be of great assistance towards the overall cost.

The Scout Group email address is: johnstonescouts@hotmail.com Please make it for the attention of Alisdair Connell (Group Scout Leader)
