Paisley Food Bank
Trussell Trust Foodbanks work in partnership with other agencies to help people in times of crisis. These agencies (listed below) issue the vouchers to those they deem to be in greatest need. This way the Trussell Trust can manage their supplies and ensure that those in genuine need are reached.

Trussell Trust Foodbanks are about dealing with the root cause of food crisis. Along with the professional agencies, they need to be sure that the client is engaging with all services which can tackle the individual root cause, whether it is benefit delay, debt, budget issues, homelessness etc.

  • Social Work Dept
  • All housing and homeless services (council)
  • Housing Associations
  • Job Centre Plus
  • Advice Works
  • Addiction services
  • CPNs

If you are in food crisis you should speak to any one of these agencies who works with you. If you do not have access to such agencies and need food, you can contact Roslyn McVeigh (foodbank manager) directly on 0141 889 7999 and she can direct you to a suitable agency to obtain the voucher.

Food parcels cannot be given without a voucher.

Once you have a voucher we are open from 2:00-4:00 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 31 Broomlands St Paisley PA1 2NG OR at Johnstone High Parish Halls, Quarry St Johnstone on Wednesday 10:00am-Mid-day

Anyone wishing to donate food can drop it off at the warehouse at Unit 12 Abercorn Ind Estate PA3 4AT. Its open for food donation on Monday and Friday 10:00 am -mid-day and again Thursday 6:00-7:00pm. For enquiries please contact: 0141 889 7999
