This is the 1st time the high profile group have met in Renfrewshire and the pleasant weather ensured the visitors saw the area at its best. With CEOs from as far afield as Plymouth and Inverness, the coming together gives the Chambers from across the network the opportunity to share ideas and best practice and discuss future opportunities. Items discussed included policy, the international Chamber network, affiliation, and the potential business impact of Independence.

Commenting on the successful event Renfrewshire Chamber CEO Bob Davidson said “…it was a pleasure hosting fellow Chief Exec’s from around the whole of the UK right here in Renfrewshire, Mar Hall was a wonderful venue. Our President Tom Johnston gave the welcome speech at the dinner focusing on how the chamber has grown and developed and the work we are doing in areas such as with young people, and Renfrewshire as a place to do business with examples of some of the great companies based here.”
