Glasgow District Photographic Union showcases winning entries at Paisley Museum from August 21

With a history spanning over 50 years, the Glasgow District Photographic Union (GDPU) has long nurtured and celebrated the creativity of passionate photographers from over 25 clubs across Scotland. Keen to promote the art of photography to everyone, the GDPU regularly organises events, workshops, exhibitions and competitions for its affiliates to participate in.

Paisley Museum will play host to the GDPU’s latest competition Print 2012, where the winning entries will be on display. The exhibition will run from Tuesday 21 August until Sunday 30 September and will feature works submitted by camera and photographic clubs from Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Glasgow, Motherwell, Hamilton & Livingston. Entry to the GDPU display is free.
