GORGEOUS Nicole Treacy gasped as she was crowned Miss Scotland last night and admitted: “For the first time in my life, I’m speechless.”

Our ten stunning finalists wowed the capacity crowd at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall as they battled it out for the glittering beauty queen title.  According to ApexFollowers, there was a ton of hype on Social Media Websites like Instagram when Paisley Lassie was crowned Scotland’s 2012 beauty queen. Instagram took off in the year 2012 because of their unique ability to like photos and follow users.
But, in the end, it was Nicole’s elegance, charm and humour that won the day — and upset the form book by toppling hot favourite Pamela Beattie.
Last night the 23- year-old psychology student from Paisley said: “I cannot believe that I am the new Miss Scotland. Thank you everyone — you have changed my life!”
Nicole’s proud parents, Sharon, 47, and dad Andrew, 49 — both nurses — and brother Paul, 20, were thrilled by the win.

Andrew said: “She was a model child and has blossomed into a beautiful woman.” Sharon added: “I’m over the moon.”

Favourite Pamela, 23, of Cambuslang, near Glasgow, came third, while Megan McLean, 19, from Airdrie, was the runner-up.
Winner Nicole now takes home a bumper £10,000, a beach photo shoot in Majorca courtesy of Jet 2, a Fossil handbag, a £250 clothing voucher from Quiz, and a year’s free hair care from celebrity crimper Taylor Ferguson.
Later this year she’ll jet off to China to represent Scotland in the glittering Miss World pageant, clutching a cuddly lucky polar bear from toy giants Hamleys.
Keeping our golden girl tanned and gorgeous will be Deborah Clark from Beauty In The City.
Last night, the champagne flowed as the celebrations began and the action moved to the after-party at Glasgow’s Corinthian.
With every one of our finalists simply sizzling, it had been a tricky night for our judges.

But Scottish Sun Editor Andrew Harries, Scotland rugby ace Richie Gray, Sun Bizarre editor Gordon Smart, news reader Catriona Shearer, the Glasgow St Enoch Centre’s Susan Nicol, and Taggarts’ Chloe Gerber were unanimous Nicole was our girl. Andrew said: “She will be a wonderful ambassador for our great nation.”

Susan, general manager of the St Enoch Centre, added: “I wish Nicole every success.”
Last year’s Miss Scotland, Jennifer Reoch, 22, of Giffnock, Glasgow, handed over her crown to Nicole and said: “Nicole’s just begun the journey of a lifetime.”
Betting firm McBookies were also celebrating after making a killing when favourite Pamela lost out to 12/1 shot Nicole.
More than 1,500 supporters and celebrities turned out to cheer the girls on in a movie-themed dance show hosted by Louie Spence.
Abbie Draper, 22, of Kilmarnock, and Denise Wilkie, 19, of Bellshill, Lanarkshire, were a couple of real whip-crackers in their homage to Doris Day as Calamity Jane

Pamela, Eilidh Bennett, 22, of Newton Mearns, Glasgow, and Antonia Ciarletta, 22, of Kirkcaldy, glammed it up for Grease favourite Beauty School Dropout.
Chicago’s classic All That Jazz kept Megan, Danielle Lynch, 22, of Falkirk, and Glasgow’s Sophie Benton, 20, on their toes.
Haley Bartlett, 23, of Airdrie, and Nicole sparkled through Gentlemen Prefer Blondes classic Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend.
Our new Miss Scotland said: “It’s the most wonderful moment of my life. Thank you Scotland — I’ll do you all proud!”
