Paisley Music Festival organisers create stage for local performers

The Paisley Live Music Scene is set to get an additional boost with the introduction of Paisley Music Festival, being organised by PMF Events team : Elderslie based Gavin Pick and Kevin Kerr.

The organisers of this Flagship event are looking for as many local acts to take part – an excellent platform to showcase the area’s rich musical talent and diversity.

An initial indoor “MiniFest” is being planned for this October , with the main outdoor event scheduled for 2013.

PMF Events have been rolling out regular Live gigs in Paisley to promote and generate performers’ interest in the upcoming main events.

The launch night was in The College Bar , High Street 2nd February , with on site technical  support from seasoned Festival organiser , Tommy McGrory of Loud’n’Proud and Two Rivers Festival , the launch night introduced a taster of Festival performers  with popular local acts Cherri Fosphate, Adriaan Blom , Alcatraz Kids and joined by East Kilbride based band Visions Of .

The next planned gigs at the same venue are  April 6th; May 18th ; 8th and 29th June

The line up for next month’s gig are Holy Pistol Club from West Dunbartonshire , Call Me Salvador from Houston, Alan Tennie from Coatbridge and returning act – Alcatraz Kidz from Paisley
