On Sunday 13 April 2008 I will be running the London Marathon for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

The charity CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year.

I will be running in a family team. Any sponsorship would be appreciated.

Sponsorship can be given through a dedicated website for our team www.justgiving.com/teamjedi (Star Wars Theme) or posted to home address: 32 North Lodge Road, Renfrew. PA4 9AS.

Thanks,

Derek
